Bad Rabbit Ransomware Attack is Preventable
A new ransomware attack called Bad Rabbit has struck organizations in Eastern Europe, and is now spreading to Turkey and Germany. Russian media outlets were among the first to report the ransomware, along with transportation systems in Ukraine.
The malware is spread by a fake Flash update installer. Like the WannaCry and Petya cyber attacks, the Bad Rabbit ransomware attack could have been prevented. Ransomware and other malwares are not the new normal.
