Understanding the Shared Responsibility Model
Cloud services are revolutionizing the way we build and deploy applications.
But who is responsible for cloud security?
In the shared responsibility model, the cloud providers are responsible for security of the cloud, while the users must take care of security in the cloud. In other words, the providers are responsible for the security of their physical infrastructure resources and services while the customers must secure all the assets (applications, data, containers, and so on) that they run on that infrastructure.
